PGX game, Map Editor, Unit Editor, Europe, Pacific, and other scenarios. Last updated December 4th, 2025 PGX (v832) v833 New Non-Historical Scenario 'Armageddon'. Every Nation is at War with Every Nation. No politics. Fight to the Finish. Armageddon is just a whimsical creation to test some AI variations. But, it turned out to be sort of fun to play. There are NO Axis, or Allies. (The AI setting screen will POP up at the beginning of Side 1 (Axis), and Side 2 (Allied). This will give you a chance to adjust any AI settings for any of the nations. Ship Construction Time (90 Days per Sub, 150 Days Light Capital Ship, 210 Days for Heavy Capital Ship) Anti-Submarine Nets Port Defence. 95% to stop Submarine Infiltration. (Modified by Sub Experience (Up to -5 Die Roll Modifier)) v832 Multi-Direction attacks easier to get initiative bonus. Purchase 5 point unit to begin training. Easy upgrade to full Brigade on the Purchase screen. Europe 1939 Scenario. 1939-40 Early war Allied deployment limits. (5 point tanks spread out) Adjusted the AI to NOT over-stack air units. (The Human can, but the AI will try not to Over-stack.) (Optional Rule) Worked on the Organization Screen. (F6) Instead of a bunch of complicated Conscription rules. Just 'buy' manpower. Same result ? (Lower Production more Manpower) New Manpower (conscription/enlistment) Optional Rule. (F2 optional rule screen to disable, or adjust.) More info in \pg_info\manpower.txt file. (Added a new scenario. Europe 1805. Napoleon with tanks. What if the Napoleonic Wars had been fought with 1939 Technology ?)

How to Install and Run PGX ! Copy PGX.ZIP zip file to a folder. Unzip it in that folder. (Make sure 'use folder names' or 'path names' is enabled.) Type PGX3...Hopefully it will start right up. If not... You might need the Visual Basic 6 Run-Time files installed to run the game. Just check on the internet about 'how to run Visual Basic exe files'. I would try this first. Visual Basic Run time files MS Visual Basic 5.0 runtime Package If that does not work... Here is a setup file I created with the Setup Wizard. If you want to try it. Copy this into the \pgx folder. Extract it, and run the setup.exe. I think that might install all the Visual Basic run-time files. PGX setup package(Visual Basic 5.0) PGX Setup Package
